A Little About Susan Sadler...

Susan Sadler, a Sanibel resident, is a watercolor and acrylic artist specializing in following her creative spirit and humorous whim. Her work is impressionistic and full of rich textures and vibrant colors.

Born in Michigan, Susan began her art studies at Delta College in Saginaw, MI. She later studied Batik at the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Fine Arts at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Susan launched her own successful company, S.J. Design 18 years ago. She hand-paints whimsical designs on natural fiber garments. Clothing sells at art fairs around the Eastern United States. Susan recently authored "Whimsical Wearables", a fabric-painting book full of techniques and patterns.
